What are warez?

Where can I find warez?
There are various communities and methods you can use to get what you want. The most easy way to find what you want is not always the best one. It really depends on what exactly you are looking for! Anyways the most popular way used to share warez is the bittorrent network. Torrent files are little pieces of information a Bit torrent client uses to connect to certain people, who also run the torrent client and have a the file you are looking for. When you want to search for these torrent files you generally visit a torrent search engine ( like google is a website search engine ) and enter what you want. for example, a movie or porn, or an cracked application! Applications generally have a security issue bound with them as hackers usually infect files shared on bittorrent networks. But this is the case for any sharing network.
Personally I use µTorrent bittorent client, cause it’s lightweight and advanced at the same time. I use The pirate bay As torrent search engine.

Peer 2 Peer file sharing, the gnutella network
The gnutella network is popular to use when you search for music. I use Cabos As gnutella client. It’s very light weight and works like a charm. It’s an opensource project so no one is doing anything malicious on your computer after you install it. This does not mean the Gnutella network is safe for virusses. You can still download virusses when you search the gnutella network for warez. The gnutella network clients have build in search engines.

Warez boards and forums
A lot of forums also provide their readers with Warez, some even are targetted and build just for that! The warez found on boards generally are “internet” downloads from rapidshare or other file sharing online web services. Warezz-bb is the biggest warez forum on the whole internet
