Major update
Everything is going well with my online business, I had a 3 month break from internet and I finished school succesfully! I recently updated my web hosting page @ http://www.webhost-choice.com. Live visitor statistics globe tool!
Heya! I found this very cool tool that counts website visitors, shows their country and site and location on a 3D turning globe. It’s a javascript code and pretty cool indeed. I wanted to add it here, but well… WordPress.com does not allow inserting javascript in posts. To bad… I really wanted to have a globe on this site! Buying a new computer or laptop is not an easy task. You want performance and a good price, Well I’m really happy about My toshiba laptop! It has 4GB of DDR2 RAM, Intel duo core P8600 @ 2.40 GHZ each and a 512MB Geforce M9800 GT graphics card, It weighs some 3KG and has a wide-screen 18 inch. It’s a media monster and I totally love it! Toshiba comes cheaper than better known laptops like Acer and Packard Bell, I browsed laptop’s with similar specifications. The acer variant would cost me €250 more, the Dell variant even €541!! Anyways I paid €1120 for my rig. Keep in mind that in Belgium, one pays 21% taxes on all goods excluding food… Expensive europe! anyway here’s a picture of my rig!

I found a couple of great free online SMS services. Which allow you to send free SMS to any country! pretty cool, I personally tested these and they do really work!

Google wave tutorial and information
Did you hear about google wave yet? it’s a new java platform application which allows you to social network, email, network and even work together! it’s a super dynamic tool and the moment I got invited and checked it out. I absolutely loved it! Google Wave is designed as a new Internet communications platform. It is written in Java using OpenJDK and its web interface uses the Google Web Toolkit. Google Wave works like previous messaging systems such as email and Usenet, but instead of sending a message along with its entire thread of previous messages, or requiring all responses to be stored in each user’s inbox for context, message documents (referred to as waves) that contain complete threads of multimedia messages (blips) are stored on a central server. Waves are shared with collaborators who can be added or removed from the wave at any point during a wave’s existence. Branding my nickname, it worked!
One of the main reasons I started this blog was to brand my nickname. What I mean is that all google searches for my nickname “synbitz” will refer to content, articles and profile pages that have been created by me! This is a great way to keep track of your online activity and ofcourse it’s also a very good promotional method. Nickname branding starts with picking a nickname. You can not just use any nickname you like. It is very important you pick a nickname that search engines return very few or no results for. When I created this new nickname synbitz, I typed it in in google to check if there were other people using this nick, or websites with the keyword synbitz were registered. The query back then only returned 5 results. Now, almost 6 months later I have sucessfully branded my username and searching for Synbitz now returns over 3000 results!
Creating Video tutorials – Desktop recording & editing software
As you might or might not know I love video tutorials and I even create My own. I use Photoshop to create graphical images and I use Camtasia Studio to record, edit and produce my video tutorials! Camtasia is the best screen recording software I have ever used and has an easy to use interface. Making video’s will become a process of minutes! Bypassing server filter systems : visit blocked websites, not affecting download speed
I forgot I build this video tutorial a while back ago. I found out myself that I can bypass website blocks, or server filter its a simple idea, and the result is awesome if you want to browse blocked websites! much faster than proxy sites.
proxy sites are slow, but when this works you can even stream video’s, and download applications at top speed from the internet!
I pinged the blocked url using cmd and return me a syn packet and told me the youtube server ip. I type in this IP adress in my browser and boom! a simple
internet browsing filter can be bypassed.
Happy surfing on work, school or any other private protected network!
